Vesetas Street

The project provides for the installation of 312 piles on Vesetas Street between Hanzas Street and Malpils Street.

The project provides for the reconstruction of a household sewage collector, reconstruction of the water-supply line, reconstruction and construction of a rainwater sewer on Vesetas Street between Hanzas Street and Malpils Street, Riga, installing 312 piles in total.

In its own way, it is a unique project, because never before has a household sewage collector been built in Riga on 18 meter long bored FDP piles with 410 mm in diameter. Such a solution for a foundation has been adopted because of the clay loam and soil with a weak load carrying capacity that are typical of this district. For this reason, the piles were drilled to the layer of coarse sand.

At the first stage, 116 piles were installed for the collector on Vesetas Street between Hanzas Street and Sporta Street.

At the second stage, the installation of 196 piles on the remaining part of the street up to Malpils Street is planned.
